Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and developers to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Optimize and enhance existing data storage solutions and workflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Implement data governance practices and compliance measures.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role, preferably in financial services or trading environments
• Knowledge of financial data systems is a strong plus
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
