Our client, an international food manufacturer is urgently seeking a candidate for the position of Quality Management Manager.

Responsibilities: 

• Implement the agreed Food Safety and Quality policies, manage the food safety risk at production plant and OEMs
• Establish, review and manage the implementation of Quality Assurance System stated in ISO system and other quality documents
• Establish sampling plan and validation or verification plan for production of new products, new process, initial production after overhaul or maintainence
• Conduct root cause analysis, details evaluation and propose preventive actions on trouble shooting
• Keep abreast on the updated food safety related information, advice and share with management and related working counterparts
• Monitor the Quality Status and Trends of Production site by performing statistical analysis of QC data for Quality monitoring and improvement
• Ensure that the Quality department staff and line personnel conducting quality tests are competent and proficient for overall performance
• Ensure proper handling of consumer/customer complaints by the plant in accordance with company guidelines

Qualification: 

• University Degree or above in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Management, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years in the food industry, with which minimum 3 years at supervisory accountabilities
• Sensory experience in color, odor and taste evaluation
• Proficient in both written and verbal English and Chinese and strong communication and interpersonal skills
