Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to an in-house designed Algorithmic Trading System
• Coordinate and work closely with Operation and Business users on preparation and design work in the areas of system integration and trading interface
• Must have hands-on JAVA experience to support the existing system and be prepared to design and develop new codes
• Strong system analysis and problem solving skills to ensure business requirements are met and quality business solutions delivered
• Review business requirements, conduct system analysis during system initiation, inception and elaboration
• Provide technical support during business construction
• Provide software/hardware support to user applications and workstations
• Develop Information Enquiries software/tools for clients
• Monitor target system to ensure it complies with business policies and standards
• Co-ordinate, upload/update market data, market price and compliance rules to target system

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years Java platform development experience, PostgreSQL Database on Mac OS X and Linux
• Strong technical and business knowledge on application development, system integration and interface system
• Must be hands on JAVA development and maintenance
• Experience on general application software such as Excel, Showcase database
• Good understanding of company business strategy and internal procedures
• Business exposure in Finance, Hedge Fund or Asset Management will be an advantage
• Excellent spoken and written language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Good initiatives and capable to work independently
• Willing to travel occasionally
