Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist all aspects of event staging of mega events from planning to implementation in accordance to organization’s specifications
- Gather market information and conduct background research to facilitate effective event planning
- Source and identify service contractors/ entertainers/ performers and procure services required in accordance to the organization's policies
- Negotiate, supervise and monitor service contractors / entertainers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
- Identify, negotiate, liaise, solicit support and co-ordinate with stakeholders and partners to materialize agreed event components / deliverables
- Process and procure all necessary licenses and permits for staging the event in compliance with all applicable HK laws & regulations
- Negotiate, liaise and co-ordinate with different teams to consolidate logistics and implementation plans
- Administer all logistics and operational duties to ensure smooth operation
- Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Manager
Job Requirements
- University graduates, preferably in Marketing / Communications / Event Management disciplines with at least 4 years’ working experience in related fields
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
- An initiative, responsible and self-disciplined team player with good interpersonal skills
- Attentive to details, strong organization skill and able to deliver quality work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter with good presentation, communication and organisation skills
- Proficiency in PC applications - MS Office, Chinese Word Processing
- Immediately available is highly preferred
