EIRE Systems provides an integrated support product for small, medium and large sized companies. We are currently offering a new opportunity for a IT Support Consultant to join our team of staff engineers. In this varied and challenging role you will work both independently and as part of a team providing professional IT services to our clients in Hong Kong.

At the beginning you will be involved in PC deployment and upgrade projects as well as providing technical support for end users, troubleshooting and resolving IT problems using a wide range of tools and monitoring and reporting on IT incidents and requests.

As a member of the EIRE Systems team of staff engineers you will continue to build upon your previous experiences working in a professional setting, supporting networked Windows PC's and mobile computing environments, MS Office and other standard office applications, financial applications as well as general networking support issues. Your high work ethic and willingness to work hard to develop your technical and professional knowledge will be rewarded with ongoing opportunities to be involved in a wide range IT projects and support services such as:

• Server installation, configuration and testing; Email and network software installation
• Network design and implementation;
• Client workstation installation, configuration and testing
• Security solutions (firewalls/encryption technologies) installation and testing;
• Project management, project planning and implementation; Conducting Site surveys and preparing systems documentation; Vendor Management and Hardware/Software procurement
  

A major challenge of the role is in the customer management and on-going maintenance. Your preference for and ability to work without constant supervision, as well as your excellent time management skills (i.e. identifying and prioritizing tasks) will be key to your success.

Qualifications and Skill/Experience Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge for Windows 7 and XP. Windows 8 knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in installing and deploying PC hardware and software in a professional setting.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange or Lotus Notes.
• Relevant industry certifications (i.e. CCNA, MCITP, MCDST etc.) will add value to your application.
• Knowledge of network designs and related support issues. Cisco networking skills/experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in a highly professional manner with users, internal/external customers and business partners.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  

Language Skills Requirement
Fluent to Native-level verbal and written communication skills using English is an absolute must.
