Job Description

The Role:

The Marketing Events Coordinator works directly with and reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing Morningstar’s internal and external marketing and branding events in Asia. The successful candidate will also be involved in the client segmentation process when handling RSVPs, and for maintaining up-to-date client contact databases for various marketing initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate marketing events and exhibitions to promote and maximize our company’s brand recognition and value.

+ Proactively identify and communicate potential business prospects to our sales team.

+ Manage productive relationships with various constituencies, including internal departments, external investor relations firms, events coordinators, and other professional advisers on a project-specific and ongoing basis.

+ Assist and engage in events logistics planning, including, but not limited to, venue comparison and conducting cost analysis.

 

Requirements:

+ A bachelor’s degree or above

+ At least one year of direct experience in marketing, communication, operations, or customer service

+ Proven ability to work as an independent, detail-oriented, and flexible self-starter.

+ Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.

+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

+ Experience with data tabulation software strongly preferred.
