Responsibilities:

• Formulate OTB plans in accordance with the sales forecast for Hong Kong, and PRC shops
• Implementation of merchandising strategies and planning in terms of category and size ratio on seasonal and yearly basis
• Ensure product mix meets customers’ requirement and achieve sales & profit margin based on seasonal business plan
• Monitor inventory level and order delivery for all shops to maintain store performance
• Allocate merchandises and coordinate distribution of goods with shops and warehouse to smooth the stock replenishment issue
• Work with marketing department on advertising, promotion campaign, VIP programs etc.
• Provide product training and market trend information to frontline staff regularly
• Set merchandise retail price, markdowns and be fully responsible for stock replenishments
• Ensure the responsibilities of buying team members are executed on time and to the highest standard
• Analyze sell-in & sell-through data for merchandise planning & product briefing and enforce improved planning & forecasting accuracy through an optimized planning & forecasting process.
• Maintain pro-active market research including trend and competitors.

Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Fashion & Textiles, Merchandising & Retailing
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in footwear buying or product development for Luxury Brands and with at least 2 years at the same capacity
• strong numerical sense, analytical mind and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Patient, responsible, initiative and able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong fashion and market sense in retail industry
• Good negotiation skills and time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Overseas trip will be required occasionally
