Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with and assign tasks to the Senior System Support Engineer and other support staff as designated by SE/CS
• Supervise the Senior System Support Engineer and other support staff as designated by SE/CS and monitor their performance
• Ensure that timely and good quality support service is being provided to the end users
• Manage the mail system
• Administer the Identity Management System
• Manage the Intranet Portal
• Manage the Departmental Portal Programme
• Manage the Antivirus and Antispam system
• Manage the Windows Update Service
• Manage the Desktop and Server Managemen System
• Monitor the performance and conditions of the above systems
• Maintain and update system documentation of the above systems
• Maintain and update inventory record of the above systems
• Propose and evaluate improvement plans for the above systems
• Manage the works of other contractors and
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by SE/CS or his designated representative(s)

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent issued by a recognized university
• IBM Certified System Administrator - Lotus Notes and Domino
• Cisco Certified Network Associate
• Possess IT experience as follows:-
• at least 12 years experience in system support, with at least six years in Managerial position
• at least 12 years experience in administration of IBM Lotus Domino
• at least 3 years experience in the administration of IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, IBM Tivoli Access Manager, IBM CommonStore, CA Desktop and Server Management (DSM) and CA Service Desk Manager
• at least 3 years experience in the configuration of McAfee Email Gateway, Symantec Endpoint Protection, BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Microsoft Windows Server Update Services
• experience in administration of Microsoft Sharepoint products
• experience in disaster recovery planning, e.g. performing drill for server disaster recovery
