Duties:

• Perform network implementation, LAN/WAN integration and enhancement/upgrade to existing network systems
• Conduct capacity planning, monitoring and prepare expansion arrangement
• Support project implementation, provision of user and technical support, advise and consultancy on the use of the data network systems
• Act as level 1 to 3 support for issue escalation (7x24) and prime interface for driving resolution, workaround, root cause analysis, long term solution in association with equipment supplier
• Liaison and management of contractor , as well as research and development on job related areas

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Studies or equivalent;
• At least 3 years work experience in Networking
• Certification in CCNP is required
• Familiar in CISCO , Network routers, LAN switches, VPN, Firewall products
• Good knowledge in Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Token Ring, ATM & VDSL
• Proficient in layer 2 & 3 protocols including TCP/IP, IPX, SNA, Spanning Tree, VLAN, WAN, OSPF, EIGRP and BGP
• Knowledge of network security technology including IPSEC, PPTP, SSL NAT and Firewall
• Track record on network troubleshooting and network testing
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus
• Willing to work in different hours if required
