Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an effective compliance and control system within the Division;
  • Ensure agencies in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Handle license affairs and related registration processes as well as such administrative matters;
  • Formulate internal policies & procedures for the Division in accordance with statutory requirements or Group standards;
  • Maintain and update the Compliance Register on an on-going basis to ensure relevant regulatory requirements are properly addressed with adequate control measures in place;
  • Manage a team of sales support staff in handling day to day administrative works of the Division such as MIS reporting, promotion campaign supports, coupon redemption logistics etc ;
  • Performing any ad-hoc activities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate with related professional qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with background in policy and compliance within financial institutions preferably insurance and/or banking industry;
  • Sound knowledge of the Code of Practice for the Administration of Insurance Agents, Code of Conduct for Insurers, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other relevant regulatory requirements is preferable;
  • Initiative, reliable, attentive to details, willing to take on additional responsibility and work under pressure;
  • Team player and able to work in fast paced environment independently with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

** Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
