Responsibilities:

• Develop a procurement delivery plan for the group - trade lane Intra-Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Asia-Latam, Asia-America
• Developing and implementing proactive, best practice procurement strategies, policies, and procedures supporting Asian offices
• Ensuring sourcing decisions are made per corporate policy
• Building a strong partner relationships within shipping lines and other logistics partners
• Focus with templates and set out business, performance and reporting requirements utilising RFI, RFP & RFQ techniques to identify, select, and engage with competitive, cost-effective, high quality suppliers
• Enhancing suppliers relationships in order to ensure optimum levels of service, quality, value and cost objectives are met
• Managing to targeted goals related to cost-savings and sourcing activities

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration/Logistics/Procurement Management
• With at least 3 years experience working for or closely with ocean carriers, with significant knowledge of ocean carriers and ability in procurement contract construction
• Excellent coordination, communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English
• Proficient in computer operation (MS Word and Excel)
• Proven track record in monitoring and developing teams, people management within a corporate environment
