The Job:

• Works closely with vendors and US PD teams to achieve sourcing and production requirements; activities include coordinating activities in sample and product development, costing package coordination, preliminary screening, preparation of POs, order tracking etc.
• Monitors order activities, and work closely with factory personnel to track production progress and performance, identify issues, proposes solutions to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and on-time-delivery requirements.
• Take care of SDG program from sample development to production. Responsible for sample request, order follow-up and quotation.
• Coordinate and work with overseas buyers, vendors & factories in daily communications.  Identify and address any potential problems or issues, and bring up to the Management. 
• Handle the production quality claim with vendors and come up with final resolution.
• Maintain, build and develop strong relationship with vendors and factories.
• Responsible for new PO Collaboration system on Trade Card with overseas buyers, vendors & factories.  Prepare and update the PSR report on the regular basis.
• Performs any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the superior.

The Person:



• University graduates with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the athletic/performance footwear industry.
• Prior training/knowledge in footwear construction and product development is required.
• Knowledge of US retail market and prior work experience in MNC preferred.
• Knowledge of the latest footwear trend, including materials, components, processes, concepts and manufacturing.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills. A team player.
• Detailed-oriented, good problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to work under high work pressure.
• Ability to work with people of diverse cultural background.
• Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English (verbal & written), Chinese Input Method a plus.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), prior knowledge in ERP an advantage.
• Ability to travel (up to 20%).
