Key Accountabilities  

• Supervise a team of shipping staffs to handle full set of shipping documents for all the import and export activities including Custom Declaration
• Able to handle full set of shipping documents and deal with L/C, banking documents independently
• Set up standard policy & procedure for L/C opening and review the L/C documents to ensure compliance with contracts
• Deal with Custom requirement/arrangement/declaration in different destination for import/export activities
• Logistics cost estimation, quotation, negotiation, and control
• Monitor closely with vendors and forwarders on shipment schedule to ensure on time customer order fulfillment
• Work closely with customers and warehouse to ensure on time and accurate documentation
• Develop and enforce policies, guidelines and procedures for continuous improvement of the overall shipping / logistics process

Experience/Skills/Education Required 

• Tertiary educated with relevant training in supply chain management
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, of which at least 5 year’s experience in a managerial capacity
• Possess solid experience in trading company, preferable in garment industry
• Experience & knowledge in dealing with L/C documentation and processing is a MUST
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills with service vendors
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with a hands on & can do mentality
• Proficiency in MS office
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
