Responsibilities: 

• Based in Los Angeles and work closely with Hong Kong Headquarter
• Monitor the team for all accounting and financial operations of the North America Region, including :
• assist to prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process and related account reconciliation
• compile accounting reports
• analyze performance against plan/forecast and variances; and
• manage tax compliance matters including tax filings of the Group
• Ensure proper internal control system implemented according to law and policies of Headquarter of Hong Kong
• Coordinate with different internal departments in the region and Headquarter
• Liaise with external parties including bank, auditor, tax and other financial authorities
• Other ad hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
• Qualified Accountant
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in MNC / Big 4 accounting firm, minimum 5 years or above at managerial position
• US citizen or relevant visa holder preferred
• Prior working experience in Telecommunications or Retail industry is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, familiar with IFRS is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of US and Canada tax regulations and tax filing requirements
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Team player and able to work under pressure
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle multi-tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
