Job Duties:

• Provide legal support in handling leasing and tenancy-related matters including preparing, drafting and reviewing of leases, tenancy agreements and other legal affairs and documents
• ŸWork closely with and provide advice to the Leasing & Property and other Departments on a wide variety of issues pertaining to contracts and other legal matters
• ŸIdentify potential risks in corporate activities including overseas investments and other business activities, advise Senior Management on corporate governance and compliance issues
• ŸMonitor the company policies that will impact the business operations and advise on implementing necessary compliance programme
• ŸLiaise and collaborate with external lawyers, government bodies and regulatory authorities as and when required
• ŸParticipate in ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by management

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• ŸQualified Hong Kong Legal Practitioner with a Bachelor degree or above in Law
• ŸAt least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in private sector or as in-house legal counsel, preferably with conveyancing and litigation experience
• ŸGood interpersonal skills
• ŸStrong commercial acumen and analytical ability, detail-oriented, well-organized and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
• ŸBe able to work independently upon own initiative, accomplish tasks under tight schedules and be able to work under pressure
• ŸExcellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese is essential
• ŸImmediate availability is preferred
