ESTATES OFFICE

Hong Kong Baptist University is embarking on a strategic direction of developing the University towards a low carbon campus. The appointee will assist the Environmental Health and Safety Section of the Estates Office in executing different environmental programmes for the strategic development and sustainability initiatives. He/She will participate in activities for implementing promotional programmes for the University community, maintaining and expanding green voluntary network for outreaching the general community, exploring partnership opportunities for green community projects, conducting carbon audit and reducing the carbon footprint.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the field of Environmental Science, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines, with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are highly desirable. Ability to plan, organise, and execute is essential. Experience in organising environmental events and building relationship with key community stakeholders is an advantage. Demonstrated ability in liaising with internal clients such as student bodies and academic departments, and external organisations including government would also be desirable.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
