Our Client

 

Our client, a well-established, publicly-listed property developer in Hong Kong, is inviting a dynamic, experienced management professional to head their finance function.

 

The Role

 

• Responsible for all accounting activities and provide professional advice for improvement
• Review and monitor the monthly closing of Hong Kong operations
• Handle cash flow management
• Responsible for review of monthly consolidation, budget, forecast, handle statutory audits, profits tax filing
• Prepare financial and management reports, costing analyses as well as ad hoc assignments
• Supervise the handling of Hong Kong accounting, tax and government administration issues
• Liaise with external auditors to complete annual audit; work effectively with bankers and professional bodies
• Report directly to Managing Director

 

Key Accountabilities



• Good academic background; degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 15 years’ relevant working experience, preferably gained from property developer of which 8 years at management level
• Qualified member of ACCA / HKICPA
• Familiar with accounting standards and tax rules and regulations
• Strong organizational skills, attentive to details
• Independent, self-motivated, analytical, responsible and able to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with high rate of interaction with internal customers and senior management
• Experienced in SUN accounting systems or other accounting software
• Experience in process re-engineering as control point of finance function, an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
