Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver technical aspects of packaging development
• Provide packaging technical input to ensure packaging designs comply with UK/ European standards / directives and internal company requirements.
• Project Management - monitor critical path / key milestones of the packaging development process
• Coordinate artwork progress with UK and HK
• Work with the category teams and product suppliers to ensure packaging quality management is well understood and implemented through the gated process and beyond
• Ensure that the commercial aspects of all packaging components are well understood, ensuring our teams are well informed and can therefore negotiate costs effectively
• Manage colour consistency for all packaging
• Manage our printer base and ensure our suppliers are working with qualified printers.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Education
• Min 5 years experiences in packaging and printing environment
• Experience in European buying office would be a definite advantage
• Good Understanding of printing processes and packaging material specifications
• Attention to details and good communication skills
• Good in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• A good team player willing to travel with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
