Our client is the largest insurance, asset management, employee benefits and trustee services provider in the regiona. To cope with the current regulations and to enhance fraud risk management culture in the group office, we are now hiring a senior investigation manager to join the team.

What will be your job duties?

You will manage investigation project with knowledge of forensic technology solutions, formulate strategies and manage investigations independently. This includes working closely with local offices and vendors. 

You provide direction to the investigation team members for investigation projects including

a)     Guidance on information and evidence gathering;

b)     Protocol and approach of conducting interview;

c)     Examination of financial accounting and company records and other relevant documentary evidences for possible use in civil or criminal cases; and

d)     The necessity in performing computer forensic analysis

You will review and evaluate information or evidence compiled for civil or criminal cases and support any legal proceedings; establish and maintain personal contacts with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, legal representatives and other fraud investigators active in the field of fraud investigation.

You initiate, develop and deliver preventive fraud education activities for Group Internal Audit and other employers including senior management controllers, underwriters and administration and claim staff.
You will actively perform fraud risk assessment with the Group include supporting the assessment of fraud risks in each Group Internal Audit Project.

Who will you be?

You come from an investigation background with at least 5 years of experience preferably from Commercial Crimes Bureau, Independent Commission Against Corruption, Big 4 forensic unit, financial institutions in similar capacity.

You are qualified as EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)/ Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). You are a degree holder in Accountancy, Science or Master of Science degree holder in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology / Systems.

You have track record in managing a variety of investigations, including regulatory enquiries, employee fraud, asset misappropriation and expense fraud. You have extensive knowledge of computer forensics, electronic discovery, data analysis and/or information security.

You possess strong MS Access and SQL skills, have good understanding of MS Office and MS Office file types; PC and Server operating systems; email formats and email software clients. Computer Forensic experience is not essential but would be an additional benefit.

You write and speak native level English, and be able to communicate in oral and written Chinese or other Asian language. You can take up extensive travel. You have an aptitude to learn new tools, and have excellent communication skill.
