Successful candidates will have a solid track record in planning and supervising corporate communication implementation whilst at the same time offering strategic counsel and guidance both internally and externally.  Your strong media relations network across the community will be vital in this role. This is a great opportunity for a corporate communication specialist to make their mark within a local community services sector.

 Reports to the Director, External Affairs

The Corporate Communication Manager will be responsible for all aspects of media and stakeholder relations activities. Including:

  • Developing and overseeing implementation of strategic, integrated public relations activities and media relations. 
  • Planning of integrated communications strategies to elevate the corporate image.
  • Establishing policies and procedures to ensure corporate communication strategy is implemented effectively and consistently.

 Responsibilities

  • Media relations, extensive and solid networking with media, experienced in media pitching and execute media activities.
  • Organizing and coordinating all kinds of corporate communication activities.
  • Responsibilities include liaising with a wide range of stakeholders in particular to handling media enquiries and relations, prepare written materials including press releases, speeches, corporate brochures, reports and overseeing corporate communication and corporate responsibility activities.
  • Preparation, compilation and submission of management report.
  • Maintaining customer weekly feedback system and assist in complaint handling.
  • Corporate event management, solid experience in event execution.

 
Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or above in public relations, communications, journalism, translation, marketing or related field preferred.
  • At least 8+ years experience in corporate communication, preferably well versed with public affairs, or within the government sector or social community sector or in an agency setting.
  • Candidate must be meticulous with strategic mind and an out-going person with good communication and presentation skill, excellent command in both English and Chinese and able to work on tight schedule and work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficient in PC Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Chinese Word processing.
  • Candidate who comes from media background would be an advantage but not a must.
  • With immediate credibility and an established network of key media contacts in the region.
  • Some experience in Digital Media.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English and Cantonese (written and spoken) is a MUST.
