Job Duties

• Working with design team and translating requirements into user interfaces to web sites and applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle
• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Assist in ad hoc programming development projects.

Job Requirements

• Expert at front-end development with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript standards
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with Server-side scripting languages (PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
• Experience with web services and APIs (XML, SOAP, WSDL, JSON)
• Familiarity with relational databases
• Knowledge of responsive web design & cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with debugging web and software applications
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and methodologies (Twitter bootstrap, requireJS, backbone,etc.) a plus
• Web and Application UX / UI experience a plus
