Job Description


Summary Statement: Reporting to the Service Support Manager, you will be responsible to providing technical product service support and technical knowledge to channel partners, end users and stakeholders.

Representative Duties:  

  • Repair of all incoming Shure products with a focus on wireless products, conduct fault testing on service and RMA returns and responsible for service parts inventory control and order processing
  • Provide technical support both externally and internally, prepare and deliver service training to Shure Asia channel partners, as well as participate in regular service meetings and communicate with engineers in other Shure Service Centers
  • Handle all product enquiries including technical question, application support and product operation from Shure Asia channel partners and end users, as well as assist and monitor channel partners' service support function
  • Ensure delivery of real time problem solutions, track reported product issues from the region and maintain full record history
  • Provide support to Hong Kong Service Desk (Front Line) related duties and implement the department objective set by the Service Support Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements 

  • Degree holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in service support, with professional Audio/RF/Telecommunication related systems servicing is preferred but not a must
  • Good understanding of engineering standards and procedures and with very good knowledge in circuit component level repairs
  • Experience in developing training materials and delivering training is preferred
  • Strong team player, flexible attitude, positive thinker with can-do attitude
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Proficient in computer operating skills in MS Office / Excel; experience in using SAP is preferred
  • Occasional travel is required
