Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef to oversee the pastry production, and ensure to maintain the output of around 2,500 mini cakes per day;
• Supervise a team of chefs for pastry production;
• Assist the Executive Chef to conduct research and development on new menus, consumers preference and market information; and propose food promotion according to seasonal items;
• Maintain food quality standard;
• Ensure to comply with relevant local ordinances, rules and regulations;
• Enforce general and personal hygiene of all staff;
• Calculate and control food cost set by the management; and
• Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ solid experience in pastry production;
• Experienced in supervising a team of chefs;
• Understand and have good knowledge of the local and oversea trends in Western pastry;
• Familiar with the requirements of local ordinances;
• Good command of English and Chinese;
• Organized, initiative, creative and able to handle multi-tasks;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Good computing knowledge;
• Less experience will be considered as Senior Chef / Chef - Pastry;
• Work location: Chai Wan;
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
