Responsibilities

• Identify trends in product sales in the local market
• Generate investment ideas and develop marketing strategies to attract sales and broaden client base
• Plan and execute marketing activities and campaigns
• Prepare marketing and sales materials for sales teams
• Budgeting for marketing campaigns and maintain cost-effectiveness
• Manage marketing content on the web and write articles related to financial planning and unit trust investments, for website and print media
• Conduct interviews with fund managers and industry players, both in print and on webcast
• Build and maintain relationship by reaching out to investors and mass media
• Initiate and coordinate with relevant departments on website enhancement to improve usability and support ongoing ad-hoc projects to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• A good degree in Business/Marketing/Finance, preferably 3 to 5 years experience in relevant industry
• Strong sense towards mutual fund and other investment products trend in the market
• Strong investment / financial markets/ economics knowledge (advance understanding in mutual funds will be an added advantage)
• Strong analytical ability with good writing, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, independent and able to work as a team player
• Willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Media or PR agency experience will be an advantage
