The Analyst Developer is a fully qualified professional skilled in several development tools and has demonstrated experience in applications development. In addition to building applications, the successful candidate must also play a support role for proprietary and commercial applications within Asia Pacific such as Business Process Management systems, and SharePoint portal. In addition to coding, testing and operational support tasks, He\She needs to work with the Project Manager or System Analysts to perform requirements gathering, conduct system and user acceptance testing, create system and/or management reports , and other tasks involved with the implementation of applications into the production environment as defined by the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position is integral to the efficient running of our businesses and some out of hours work will be necessary especially at the “go live” stage of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

System Analysis

• Participate in the analysis of customer and/or vendor requirements to understand the business and system needs depending on user interfaces, application enhancements, new functionality and backend process in collaboration with customers, other Software Developers, Business System Analysts, and project team members.

Application Development

• Code and modify applications using programming tools.
• Identify data mappings and perform gap analysis for third party and/ or internal system data conversions
• Perform ORACLE database development – i.e. PL/SQL, stored procedures.
• Document all code using standard forms and procedures, adhering to all naming conventions.
• Participate in all stages and activities defined in the SDLC.

Reporting

• Develop complex reports and assist others in the technical and analytical aspects of report creation.

Quality Assurance

• Participate in the coordination and implementation of quality assurance activities.
• Perform QA and work with analysts/ developers to manage data conversion.

System Implementation and Deployment

• Work with the configuration management staff to provide version control and migration of code for custom and packaged software.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma holder in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, MIS, business, or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of proficient and solid experiences in .NET and web application development

• Good knowledge and skills in Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, .NET

• Advantage to have experience in SharePoint Development by using SharePoint Designer

• Participation in more than one system implementation through the complete project life cycle

• Experienced in using SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services is a MUST

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Demonstrated ability to multi-tasks

• Good written skills and communications in English

• Demonstrated teamwork skills
