Job Description
The Job
- Coordinate the processing and settlement of Employees’ Compensation claims
- Evaluate, approve and make recommendation on payment of claims on specific limit of authority
- Examine the claims documents for completeness of information and requirement
- Answer claims inquiries, explain reasons for denying claims
- Assist to prepare claims statistical information for management reports on claims
- Assist and support different IT initiatives/project for GI claims
- Assist in training and development of junior staff
The Person
- Form 7 or above / Holder of ACII/ANZII (Senior Associate) qualification
- At least 5 years claims handling experience in Employees’ Compensation
- Knowledge on complicated claims handling and pro-active claims management would be beneficial
- Detailed oriented with strong analytical mind set
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
