Job Summary

The incumbent of this position is responsible for overall sales activities including POS/ market visit, implementation of company vision, negotiation with the main groups and landlords, exploration of new distribution and market opportunities, stimulation of sales order and preparation of relevant monthly reports, participation to leading company activities in particular on the retail side.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development: maintain good relationship with landlords, while developing new connections for the company; develop and execute clear strategic plans; forecast and control budgets; assess current business and suggest appropriate directions and changes; increase business financial performance; provide on-going statistical information about sales activities at wholesale and retail level; search for new creative channels of distribution; coordination of leasing deals.

Product analysis: line editing, organization of new product launching and promotions; selection and presentation of product ranges; placement of orders; coordination of sale reports; forecasting of production needs on a quarterly and annual basis.

Operations: contacts with distribution channel and landlords; new locations negotiation; store planning; business feasibility analysis; reinforcement of customer service and After-Sales control; supervision of furniture design layouts and fixture production, coordination of shop staff duties; visual merchandising and brand image enhancement.

HR, Customer Service and Administration: managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency; dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development; ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met; resolving health and safety, legal and security issues; responding to customer complaints and comments; control of payments; coordination for documentation; optimization of logistic procedures.
