Responsibilities

• Sourcing in new products, including health supplements, OTC pharmaceuticals, and proprietary Chinese medicines for commercial launch.
• Manage the process of new product sourcing including supplier / vendor identification, product formulation validation, quotation, supply contract terms negotiation.
• Quality Assurance/Control related to existing products/new products including Raw Materials, Packaging Material and Finished Products.
• Response the process of product purchasing including prepare purchasing contract, arrangement of supplier production, delivery, packaging and products distribution.
• Responsible for the scheduling, inventory control, and purchasing plan for raw materials and associated product packaging materials.
• Assist department documentation management.
• Analyze and Manage existing products/new products comply with the regulations such as health food registration, pharmaceutical product registration in HK and overseas markets.
• Analyze market trends and maintain a competitive market price.

Requirements

• A degree/HD holder in Pharmaceutical, Food Technology Biochemistry or Nutrition.
• 2-3 years working experience in health supplement/pharmaceutical/food industry.
• Production experience in pharmaceutical/food industry is an advantage.
• Sense in health supplement market trend and business acumen in foreseeing new product potential.
• Experience in health food/pharmaceutical product registration in Hong Kong and/or in China and overseas.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Organized, detail oriented, creative and result-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility, mature and self-initiative.

Canidates with less experience can be considered for the position of Assistant Purchasing Officer.
