Global Marketing/Communications Director

To be the key person handling all aspects of the market management functions of the company globally.

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand market/competitor intelligence and propose reactions
• Coordinate with Senior Management in developing the appropriate marketing strategies
• Manage the whole marketing activities, i.e.: brand building, market research and integrated-marketing functions, such as trade shows, road shows and investors conference
• Develop regional marketing planning processes and procedures.
• Implement marketing plan to achieve regional annual goals and objectives.
• Develop and track marketing metrics for measuring marketing ROI.
• Provide guidance and leadership to Regional Managing Directors on marketing planning and execution.
• Manage and develop PR strategies to maximize brand awareness and publicity.
• Manage relationship with external PR & IR (investor relations) agencies

Essential Skills & Competencies:

• Extensive experience in senior marketing related roles covering the entire marketing spectrum
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively at an executive level
• Be able to work closely with management to develop marketing strategy and to also work at an execution level when needed
• Knowledge and experience within the renewable industry will be advantageous

Requirements

• University graduates with related degree
• Minimum 10 years of working experience of which 3 years in senior management capacity
• Excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese
• Can manage virtual remote team
• Strategic thinker with clear communication style
• Willing to frequently travel within and outside China

Reporting Relationships and Scope:

• The Marketing Director reports directly to the CEO in China
