Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • Develop customer base and manage routine sales activities in the assigned area of China's air freight market, in accordance with key performance indicators (KPI) and guidelines set by team leader of the area.
  • Work close with local Customer Service team to achieve Sales tonnage and revenue targets, increase market share, create company value, and enhance brand power.
  • Identify and recognize tactical priority in business development according to company strategy and sales policy, select and maintenance potential costumerwho mainly focus on free sales capacity and can give high yield cargo.
  • Monitor, analysis, and report market situation in the assigned sales area, identify and recommend new business opportunities.
  • Establishanalytical and forecast system for well monitoringthe customers’ profiles and performance fulfillment, forecast for upcoming business trend.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as per the assignment by managers.
  • Support the Sales Department to establish analytical and forecast system for wellmonitoring the customers’ profiles and performance fulfillment, forecast for upcoming business trend.

Selection criteria:

  • HKCEE / Diploma and proficiency in English language
  • At least 3 years working experience in aviation or logistics related industry
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese- both verbal and written, previous exposure to an English-speaking working environment is desirable
  • Good understanding of basic principles of market economy, supply and demand theory, logistics supply chain, international trade, export & import operations, essential sales and marketing concepts, national and international regulations and practices relevant to the air freight industry
  • Excellentknowledge of local market, customers, mentality, practices, preferences, trends and developments, local government policies
  • Analytical skills, ability to interpret and understand underlying reasons and factors behind market facts and events, recommend course of action and propose solutions to regional management
  • Personal qualities: honest, intelligent, positive, extraverted, possessing good leadership and communication skills, active and ambitious, adaptable, able to learn from criticism, make independent judgment and decisions, with good sense of responsibility and integrity, patient and consistent, result oriented
  • Good computer knowledge especially in MS office application is required.
