Job Description
Responsibilities:
A selection of the roles and responsibilities of Lower School Teaching Assistants include:
- Supporting students with their learning under the guidance of the class teacher;
- Modeling and encouraging high standards of behaviour at all times;
- Helping with the creation of displays and resources;
- Managing administration;
- Liaising closely with the class teacher on student progress;
- Participating in training available to gain a better understanding of the programmes offered to the students.
Requirements:
- Personable and culturally sensitive;
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential;
- Good communication skills and fluency in speaking English;
- Mature, initiative, independent, pleasant and the ability to work as a member of a collaborative team;
- All applicants should have in place the right to work in Hong Kong.
