Responsibilities

• Support account managers of various commercial industries (e.g. financial sector, Telco, Utilities, enterprises, education) to achieve business target
• Communicate with customer to collect customer business/technical requirements
• Analyze and compile business requirements into technical requirements
• Work with expertise/consultant from internal, external and product vendor to develop technical solution which fulfills customer’s requirements
• Validate technical solution against business goals and requirements
• Coordinate compilation of proposal in responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ
• Prepare and deliver presentation to customer

Requirements

• Technical skills
• Experience in designing/proposing IT infrastructure solutions, such as server/storages systems, High Availability, Backup/Recovery, DR, Virtualization technologies, system management and monitoring, etc
• Knowledge in various OS and OA systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX, Linux, email systems)
• Knowledge in network technologies and solutions is advantageous
• Knowledge in security solutions is advantageous

• Business skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
• Good presentation skill and be able to articulate difficult concepts to a variety of audiences
• Good writing skill with experienced in prepare proposals and presentation materials for IT solutions, and/or in responding to RFI, RFP
• Knowledge or experience in IT project management, IT architecture and standards are advantageous

• Qualifications
• Undergraduate or above, preferable in Computer Science, engineering or IT discipline
• At least 5 years experience in IT solutions selling, pre-sales consultancy
• IT professional certifications holder is an advantage

• Language
• Fluent in written English and Chinese
• Good command in spoken English and Chinese
• Mandarin speaking is an advantage

• Applicant with less experience will be considered for the post of Associate System Consultant-SBSBPS02
