Editorial Assistant shall manage and organise editorial matters concerning compilation of viction:ary publications and work with project coordinators and the editorial/design team throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will also be expected to perform as the focal point between external and internal parties on any in-house or client projects when needed.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and organise editorial matters for the production of viction:ary’s publications on ART and DESIGN
* Plan, draft, write and edit English content is a MUST; effective Chinese writing skills is a plus
* Source design and artworks; and co-ordinate local and overseas designers and writers on projects

Requirements / Qualifications:

* Creative with good sense and knowledge of art and design culture
* Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years (Editorial Assistant) and  4 years (Assistant Editor) experience in publishing firms or in English media; practical experience in design or cultural industries is an advantage
* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with attention to details and process improvement skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English, familiar with Mac applications
* Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Based in Hong Kong
