Job Description
Job Duties:
- Data model development (physical data model, db objects management and creation)
- DB Script Implementation (e.g. table generation, sizing, ...)
- Make advice on SQL development for application team, and review critical SQL
- Database development in Enterprise Data Warehouse (database space management, DB Partition management, problem diagnostics)
- DB Health check and basic system health check
Requirements:
- Degree/Higher Diploma/Diploma holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 year experience in IT field
- Oracle or DB2 experience (DB related certification is a plus)
- UNIX platform knowledge
- MS SQL knowledge is a plus
- Basic Data Model knowledge
- Have mentality to develop career path in Database consultancy
- Self motivation, a good team player, and able to work under pressure
- Good analytical and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.
- Good command of spoken and written in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is plus
- Candidate with strong IT knowledge will also be considered
