The Information Security Architect will have the following responsibilities:

Information security policies

• To assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of the set of policies, guidelines and technical standards governing the deployment and use of information systems within COMPANY.
• To provide the business with support with regards to the information risk management framework, guidelines and requirements.
  
  

Business continuity planning

• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives as the technical support and provide advice and recommendations with regards to defining, implementation and testing plans throughout COMPANY.
  
  

Security implementation

• To work together with the Group business functions, projects and other teams within COMPANY group including third party suppliers to review security measures with current and planned systems and develop new security requirements where appropriate.
• Provide subject matter expertise and security architectural leadership for IT systems and services in COMPANY group.
• To take part in the Incident Response Team for incidents involving security and/or Disaster/Recovery issues.
• To recommend external security partners, participate in negotiation of agreements and build on ongoing relationship.
• To drive forward and manage new security initiatives
• To research emerging security technologies and solutions.
  
  

Security reviews

• To conduct recurring technical reviews and baseline assessments of security facilities and systems at COMPANY and supplier sites (with specific focus initially on COMPANY production facilities)
• To conduct recurring reviews of security related work procedures within COMPANY.
• To conduct reviews of agreed upon security measures with IT suppliers.
  
  

Benchmark security measures

• By initiating dialogs with comparable security functions in other companies outside the COMPANY Group.
• Use techniques to establish the threats, weaknesses and exposure COMPANY has to ascertain internal and external security risks
• By membership of relevant public security communities and professional bodies.
• By participating in relevant conferences and partner briefings.
  
  

Maintaining an able security office within COMPANY

• Reporting to the information security manager.
• Preparing high-level reports and overviews for senior management.
• Maintaining and developing relevant skills and competencies on a regular basis.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and ongoing maintenance of policies, guidelines and technical documentation across the Group
  
• Provide technical expertise to a number of key strategic projects
• Definition, enforcement and assessment of IT security controls
• Monitor current and emerging security technology and solutions
• Provide support and advice to business operations, IT providers (internal & external) and projects
  
  

Annual Remuneration : HKD 700 - 900K
