Responsibilities:

• Perform English to Chinese (and vice versa) linguistic tasks including translation, editing, proofreading and quality assurance checks for marketing, financial, legal and corporate communication related documents.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Translation, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, or any other language-related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of solid translation experience in any of the following fields: financial, legal, corporate communication, telecommunication, marketing, hotels, etc.
• Excellent writing and translation skills in both English and Chinese.
• Good organizational ability, attention to detail and independent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
• Accredited and certified by the relevant industry associations would be a plus.
• Knowledge of translation CAT tools would be a plus.
• Able to commit to rush turnaround time as required.
• Flexible to work overtime during weekdays, weekends and/or public holidays when needed
• Passion for language and appreciation for diverse culture is a plus
