Job duty:

1. Responsible for English publication am post, and assist with bi-lingual art publications, ArtMap, art plus and www.artmap.com.hk
2. Create feature story, thematic articles and interviews from idea generation
3. Experienced in editing, translation, editorial concept building and direction
4. Strict discipline to meet the publishing deadline and quality maintenance
5. Work closely with designer and assure the quality of editorial and presentation
6. Assist editorial event and partnership development with relevant cultural or commercial parties
   

Requirements:

• Knowledge in contemporary arts movement, art market, translation and various art forms
• Degree holder of a recognized qualification in translation visual art Journalism, Cultural Studies, Literature Studies and/or a related discipline;
• More than 3 years editorial experience in English media, publishing or art writing;
• Native written and spoken ability in English and Chinese, excellent in editing and proofreading of art writing and translation.
• Widest established network in arts and cultural
• Ability of problem solving and multi-tasking is requested
• Well-organized and able to work independently;

 
Preference will be given to a team player with passion for arts and the ability to work effectively and individually. The appointee will report to the Executive Director.
