Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Form 5 or above
- Minimum 1 year experience in desktop mapping/drawing
- Experienced in using one or more of ArcGIS for Desktop, AutoCAD (2D), MicroStation
- Fair spoken and written English
- Reliable and good team skills
- Ready to meet tight deadlines and respond to ad hoc requirements
PREFERRED
- Previous habitat or vegetation mapping experience
- An interest in nature or the environment
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of maps (mainly habitat maps), other basic drawings and modifications to the maps as instructed, calculation of areas.
- Maintenance of mapping software
- Management of mapping files, maps and other associated files
