Summary:

Provide first level support while ensuring excellent customer service. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimising mobile / desktop / laptop hardware, software, and communication links. The person will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user guidance where required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Resolve technical issues and answer queries surrounding computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems that originate by telephone, voice mail, or e-mail.
• Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities. 
• Follow documented processes and escalate issues as needed. 
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Assist with hardware and software upgrades.
• Limited maintenance of end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirement:

• Minimum 2 years experience in system support and network support service
• Working technical knowledge of PC operating systems - Microsoft and Apple / Mac, and handheld devices - tablets and smartphones
• Support experience with Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and various end user applications
• Strong written and oral communication skills and able to present ideas in user-friendly language 
• Keen attention to detail 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment 
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 
• Highly self-motivated and multi-task oriented
• Strong customer service orientation
