Job Duties

• Oversee IT infrastructure projects; develop technical project feasibility and scope of work for the project, detailed project plans, milestones and deadlines.
• Supervise and participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of plans, policies, systems and procedures to achieve long-range and annual goals, objectives and work standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure effective service delivery and satisfaction; interact regularly to develop and refine requirements, gain agreement on solutions and deliverables, report on progress, monitor satisfaction, identify and resolve concerns and conflicts and seek cooperation, involvement and action to achieve mutual objectives.
• Coordinate the design, build, installation, maintenance and support of an IT infrastructure to ensure the entire system can continue to operate within the contract period.
• Oversee the monitoring of system and network performance; forecast requirements and performs capacity planning studies.
• In charge of maintenance and modification of systems to expand capacity and maintain operations to meet contract requirements; recommends the purchase and upgrade of network, storage and server and system software.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification IT experiences, including at least 5 years of experiences in infrastructure design and implementation.
• Practical knowledge in network design and implementation; large scale PC deployment; managing Sun Solaris, AIX, Windows, Clustering, SAN, Cisco, Oracle, Middleware, Security and backup solution.
• At least specialized in one of the technical areas, for instance system, network, security, data center, storage etc.
• Experienced in working on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Completed more than 1 cycle of project development in large scale projects, preferable in government sector.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all level of users and team members.
• Excellent documentation techniques and analytical skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Holder of ITIL or PMP certification is essential.
