Job Description

Our client is a US based high growth Services Company, providing finance and technology related solutions to top tier firms globally. Due to growing demand for services, they are looking to hire strong, entrepreneurial and dynamic individuals to join their team in Hong Kong.


The successful incumbent will be required to show innovation, willingness to learn; as well as be able to roll up his / her sleeves and take initiative.


This is an independent contributor role, which requires the incumbent to be self-motivated, self-disciplined and to be in charge of their own career success.


SUMMARY:

A member of the Supply Chain Financing account team focused on:

  • Closing new business and managing on-going customer relationships
  • Selling primarily via phone and occasionally in person with larger, more strategic suppliers
  • The primary objective; on-boarding new suppliers and to optimize the trading of existing suppliers


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops a sales strategy and approach to help a supplier understand how Supply Chain Financing can help the supplier achieve its business objectives (e.g., working capital improvement, etc)
  • Lead strategic working capital discussions with a CFO and / or Treasurer, and build trusted relationships with multiple departments within a client's organization, including Finance, Sales, AR / Credit, Accounting, and Legal. Linking of needs to value is essential
  • Qualify, prioritize and manage supplier opportunities released by the Buyer as well as incremental supplier opportunities
  • Act as a project manager for cross functional teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders, including On-Boarding, Contracts and Data Collection
  • Ultimately responsibility for customer satisfaction on assigned projects
  • Act self-sufficiently to identify solutions and strategic directions in spite of high degrees of ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Ensure that all reports and systems are current and all related documents are properly stored
  • Understand, comply and develop work instructions, process documents and technology tools
  • Actively identify, contribute to and facilitate business impacting continuous improvement efforts using Lean Techniques
  • Travel may be required up to 25%

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Supply Chain Management or other related field
  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience via telephone and face to face in a quota-driven environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts of corporate finance and working capital management
  • Experience working with credit and an understanding of how companies manage credit
  • Experience managing new and existing customer accounts
  • Proven ability to establish, develop, and manage relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to understand and manage the business and personal factors that influence decision-making
  • Effective communication skills using different approaches such as phone, video-conference, and in person
  • Ability to identify the needs of the customer and define alternative solutions
  • Experience in Sales of financial products
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin communication a must
