Job Description

Interested in the day to day duties? 

  • Work with US team in the development of product in regards to cost effective, safety and reliability.
  • Plan, manage and control all project engineering processes from prototyping to production.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary product development activities with HK, US office and vendors.
  • Communicate and resolve all product, quality and performance issues between factories, vendors and the product development team. Recommend any necessary changes and manage the implementation of the changes.
  • Review sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and prototypes from vendors and internal sources to determine feasibility, reliability and safety of the product.
  • Actively manage new product specification, timelines and ensure that vendors are on-track to meet committed ship dates.
  • Review new vendor facilities as required.

 

What’s your background?

  • Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development, project management and production of toy items (including baby / infant toy) is preferable.
  • Sound knowledge of electronic components selection, costing, specification and associated hard/soft goods manufacturing processes.
  • Fully conversant using Pro-E and CAD software, MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Good team player with ability to work independently in a fast pace environment.
  • Frequent travel to China is required.
