The Job:

• Provide support to Merchandising team on daily operations
• Handle development process, sampling and lab-dip test follow up
• Responsible for purchase orders, quotations and delivery notes preparation
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers and US PD teams to achieve sourcing and production requirements; activities include coordinating activities in sample and product development, costing package coordination, preliminary screening, preparation of POs, order tracking, etc
• Monitor order activities and work closely with factory personnel to track production progress and performance, identify issues, propose solutions to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and on-time-delivery requirements
• Maintain, build and develop strong relationship with vendors and factories
• Perform ad-hoc assignements when required

The Person:

• University graduates with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or completion of Form 5 or above with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in hardline products manufacturing, especially in backpacks and belts
• Knowledge of US retail market and prior work experience in MNC preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; a good team player
• Detail-oriented, good problem solving and decision making skills.  Ability to work under high work pressure
• Ability to work with people of diverse cultural background
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Be available for business travel (over 25%)
• Immediate available is preferred
