Responsibilities:

• Assist in manage Korean beauty and skincare categories
• Order with local and overseas vendors and ensure timely delivery
• Work closely with internal counterparts and vendors who located in Korea on quality issues as well as logistics and shipping issues
• Assist the buying team on sourcing, evaluating and selecting vendors in Korea to ensure that the products provided are of high quality standards
• Communicate with Korea headquarter buyers and sourcing department to develop and coordinate promotion campaign
• Keep updating of Korean skincare trends and proactively source new, updated and exclusive products in Korea
• Negotiate with Korean suppliers for merchandise offer and promotional planning
• Follow up and renew contracts with vendors

Requirements:

• Form 7 or above ( Diploma in Purchasing or related disciplines is highly preferable)
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in buying or category management in beauty or FMCG industries is highly preferable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Hardworking and able to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Excellent command of MS office and Chinese Word Processing
• Knowledge of SAP system
