About your work:

- Sourcing of lighting products and product ranges

- Identifying trends in the West European (mainly German) lighting market

- Cost evaluation and tough price negotiations with factories

- Evaluate factories & lighting products based on a variety of factors (i.e. price, requirements/certificates, quality, professionalism, cooperation, knowledge, etc.)

- Build up a supplier data base and a profound sourcing structure

- Manage and organize a big load on information

- Very frequent trips to factories and fairs in China

- Report directly to Top-Management

About you:

- You have a feeling for trends, products, and European mass market demands

- You are a goal oriented, intuitive, attentive and energetic person towards your tasks and colleagues

- You work independently and show an “entrepreneur spirit”

- You are experienced in overcoming obstacles on your way to achieve targets

- You are well structured & analytic

- You are already experienced in lighting sourcing (3 years or more) and build up a factory network

- You are very familiar with the German culture (native German or living in Germany for several years is a must)

- You are fluent in English

- Mandarin language skills are a big advantage
