Responsibilities:

• To oversee credit control and AR function for Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangdong other operating companies
• To strictly implement credit control policies and procedures for monitoring collection, credit assessment and follow up the overdue and exceed credit limit accounts
• To conduct credit assessment for prospective customers and existing credit accounts review
• To co-ordinate and liaise with internal operational departments for settlement of payment disputes and handle customers inquiries etc.
• To assist Business Units (BU) to meet with customers for demanding payment and follow up work
• To review the collection status and discuss with BU Heads for the collection strategy of problem debts on a regular basis
• To monitor the other receivable collection for Southern Region operating companies
• To develop, recommend and implement credit control policies & procedures and manage an effective credit control and collection functions for Southern Region operating companies
• To review credit status and transactions of the companies and monitor credit collection process
• To assist operation in review of contractual terms for payment especially for contracting business at tender stage and contract signing stage
• To attend the hearing for small claim case
• To monitor and ensure all cheques and cash receipts are timely and accurately deposited in the Company bank account and update the AR ledgers
• To monitor the problem debts and perform risk alert
• To assist senior manager to review on potential bad debts and claim cases in recommending provisions where appropriate
• To handle any other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' credit control working experience with at least 3 years' in supervisory position
• Good knowledge in credit control management
• Proficiency in SAP accounting is preferable
• Creative, independent, initiative, good interpersonal and communication skills
