Job Duties:

• Translate, update, review and proofread IPO prospectuses, financial reports, announcements and circulars of HKEx-listed companies and other documents from English to Chinese and vice versa;
• Coordinate workflow of translation projects and cooperate with fellow team members;
• Proactively communicate with team members and external parties regarding all work-related issues;
• Such other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Translation or relevant disciplines;
• Good grades in English in public exams, especially in reading and writing;
• 1 to 6 years of experience in financial translation including bulk printing and Chi-to-Eng translation (Experience with financial printers and financial translation houses preferred);
• “Can do” attitude, willing to work beyond normal hours at short notice (with OT payment) to accommodate clients’ urgent requests;
• Quick learner, problem solver, punctual, neat and organised;
• Attention to details and able to produce accurate translation under tight deadlines;
• Outstanding applicants with solid experience will be considered for the posts of Senior Translators;
• Immediate availability preferred but not essential.
