Due to a large scale Oracle ERP implementation project which spans all departments and functions in their huge organization, they now have a need for a Finance Manager for Management Reporting who is capable of bridging the group finance with the business users as well as the external IT consultants.   

Responsibilities

Managing one subordinate, you will be working closely with management, internal business users and external consultants to develop and implement the new Oracle ERP system, with special focus on management reporting. Specifically, you will be tasked be rationalizing and streamlining the management reports, improving the report quality and value-add, and investigating the reliability of data sources. You will make sure that user’s requirements are effectively and promptly communicated to the project team, and will be a change champion to manage the business users’ expectations as well as ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Requirements:

• University degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of experience in management reporting or financial planning & analysis in a large MNC environment
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP is a must
• Knowledge of Hyperion, Cognos, Business Intelligence tools will be an advantage
• Experience in project management, data analysis, report design etc. highly preferred
• Highly analytical and communicative, able to understand users in different business lines and explain what the finance team is trying to achieve
• A change agent, able to identify areas for improvement, challenge the status quo, as well as motivate different departments to work towards the same goal
