Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Brokerage, the job incumbent is responsible for:

• Handle and answer the enquiries & requests from both AE and clients (corporate, institutional and individual high networth clients)
• Execute client’s trading orders accurately including both futures & securities trades (including placement, public offering)
• Monitor credit status of clients in a proactive manner, take prompt advisory and corrective actions if necessary
• Perform receptionist duties and provide administrative support for the Brokerage department
• Handle and coordinate different tasks within the team to ensure effective implementation of daily work and procedures (such as handling account opening procedures, processing daily stock & fund transfer)
• Prepare documents for AE and clients including statements, reports, etc
• Conduct orientation and on-the-job training to new joiners of AEs and Brokerage colleagues
• Arrange and organize AE to enroll CPT course and ensure they work in compliance with company regulations and rules
• Assist Branch Manager in daily operations, risk management and cost control
• Identify operational issues and work out improvement plans within teammates and inter-departments
• Organize events or functions to encourage company team spirits

Requirements

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Business Administrationor related disciplines, with a pass in Securities Intermediaries Examinations (Qualified under SFO for handling Regulated Activities Types 1&2)
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in finance or banking industry. Experience in securities firms preferred
• Knowledge in financial products (e.g. structured products, ELN, ELD, Bonds, Stocks, Futures), trading system (e.g. I-Asia Front System), settlement systems (e.g. CCASS) and settlement methods (e.g. DVP, FOP) an advantage
• Good PC skills: Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel
• Good interpersonal & presentation skills, flexible and detail-minded
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently and proactively with high self-motivation
• Good Chinese writing skill, with a fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin & English
