REQUIREMENTS

• Form 7 or above; Holder of Certificate/ Diploma or above in Environmental Science/ Architectural Drafting or equivalent is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year experience in desktop mapping/drawing
• Experienced in  using  one or more of ArcView/ArcGIS, AutoCAD (2D), MicroStation
• Fair spoken and written English
• Reliable and good team skills
• Ready to meet tight deadlines and respond to ad hoc requirements

PREFERRED

• Previous habitat or landscape mapping experience
• An interest in nature or the environment

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of maps (mainly habitat maps), other basic drawings and modifications to the maps as instructed, calculation of areas.
• Maintenance of mapping software
• Management of mapping files, maps and other associated files
